Faith

There is a church, yes

And a synagogue, too

A temple with latticed windows

A lit candle, and a chalice in deep blue

How do you bless that holy water?

What if I were to take to the streets to pray?

I dwell here in this house that is my body

God’s temples are within me

My faith knows no bounds

Is not chained to one concept

Christ, Allah, Buddha, Yahweh, Goddess and God

He, She, They, It, We

All is better as one

A whirl, a gambol, a dance, a fall

Faith comes driving down on my head like rain

And I put up no umbrella to stop it

Come down, Rain

This is a celebration
